How do I check the chemical residual?
Just add this chemical to your boiler system until the P Indicator drives the pH above 10. At this point the water will turn pink. Just monitor the color of the water monthly. In some cases the water may turn clear. If this is the case use a nitrite test kit or nitrite test strips to monitor the nitrite residual in the water. Maintain 600 to 1200 ppm of nitrite. Over feeding will have no adverse effect, you are just wasting money.
